EDGELEY - It's like something right out of the movies; a marriage proposal you can only see from the skies. The pictures above were sent to WDAY-TV from farm field artist Gene Hanson in Edgeley. Gene had the chance to help out his grandson Jaden Wirrenga of Fargo propose to his girlfriend Brooke Beske in a special way. Gene made the 10-acre wide message and under the ruse of Brooke just getting her first airplane ride, she also saw the message.
WILLISTON, N.D. — United Airlines is investigating a report that a flight attendant was drunk or stoned on a flight from Denver to Williston. A concerned passenger posted pictures of the airline employee on Twitter Thursday, May 3. Erika Gorman described the flight as "terrifying" in a tweet to United. She says she had to go to the cockpit to tell the pilot the attendant was out of control.
EDGELEY, N.D—A North Dakota farmer who has made headlines for his agriculture art is at it again, this time with a controversial message. Gene Hanson, of Edgeley, N.D., decided to plow out "we stand for the national anthem" in his farm field. Hanson wrote it in response to NFL players who protested the anthem before games. It took Hanson two hours to make the message and was done with his tractor and disc. Overall, the words span across two football fields.

UPDATE: The Fargo Police Department posted on its Facebook page that 16-year-old Ethan Kuchera was reunited with his parents Wednesday night. Police say he was unharmed. FARGO - The Fargo Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a missing, runaway juvenile. Authorities say Ethan Kuchera, 16, was last seen in the early morning hours of October 13th in the 1100 block of 3rd Avenue South. He has ties to Grand Forks as well as Fargo. Kuchera is a white male, 5'10'', 140 lbs with brown hair and blue eyes.
FARGO, N.D. -- A Fargo woman was arrested for assaulting an officer after a vehicle crash, police say. Fargo Police were dispatched to a minor vehicle crash in the 1400 block of 33rd Street South in Fargo Friday. According to police, a passenger in the vehicle, later identified as Kou Gartei, 26, of Fargo, got upset and approached the officer's vehicle after the driver was arrested on a warrant.

MOORHEAD - Police here say a high-risk sex offender is moving to Moorhead on Thursday. Moorhead police Lt. Brad Penas said Eric Joseph Fanning, 51, was released from the Minnesota Department of Corrections on March 31 and is set to move to the 1000 block of 10th Street South in Moorhead. Fanning was convicted in Benton County, Minn., of forcible sexual contact, including penetration, with his adult female victims.
